Real Madrid convinced about transfer target Michael Olise after UCL display at Bernabeu
Rumours linking Real Madrid to Bayern Munich’s attacking talent Michael Olise have gained traction following his standout performance against Los Blancos at the Santiago Bernabéu on Tuesday.
The 24-year-old French international who has roots in Nigeria has reportedly caught the eye of Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez, who is keen to reinforce the squad if the season ends without silverware.
Earlier reports in March suggested that both Real Madrid and Liverpool were monitoring Olise, but Bayern Munich have made it clear that the player is not for sale. Sporting director Max Eberl recently confirmed that Olise is under contract until 2029 with no release clause, declaring him “unsellable.”
Honorary president Uli Hoeneß added that the club would not even consider offers of €200 million, a stance echoed by CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen, who emphasised that Bayern players understand the value of the club’s environment.
For his part, Olise has no plans to leave Munich, feeling settled and appreciated at Bayern. While Real Madrid’s interest may intensify, any approach for the Frenchman appears unlikely to succeed, leaving him firmly committed to his current club.
