Real Madrid contact Cameroonian youngster Karl Etta Eyong over possible move  

Spanish giants, Real Madrid have reportedly intensify their pursuit of Cameroon international attacker Karl Etta Eyong.

The 22-year-old attacker, who plies his trade for Levante has caught the attention of several top clubs in Europe, including Real Madrid, who are keen on adding the forward to their ranks.

Karl Etta Eyong has racked up six goals and provided three assists in seven appearances in the Spanish top-flight so far, establishing himself as the club’s most potent weapon in attack and one of the standout players in the Spanish top-tier this season.

Under contract until 2029, the Cameroonian international was signed by Levante for €3 million from Villarreal. Etta Eyong embodies power and a goalscoring instinct, qualities that make him one of the best strikers of his generation.

According to reports, Real Madrid have already initiated contact with the forward’s representatives, seeking to beat of competition from Arsenal, CSKA Moscow, and FC Barcelona, who are also said to be interested in the youngster.

Karl Etta Eyong is open for a move as early as January, boosting the chances of clubs, who are keen on landing his signature.

Meanwhile, Levante are reluctant to sanction a move for the forward in the winter. The Spanish outfit will only transfer the Cameroonian after the 2026 World Cup, where his market value could dramatically increase.
