Liverpool Reportedly Eyeing Karim Benzema with €50M Offer
The future of Karim Benzema at Real Madrid continues to stir speculation. Despite scoring after coming off the bench in Real Madrid’s recent 2-1 Champions League win over Ludogorets Razgrad, the French striker is once again at the center of transfer rumors.
According to the Daily Star, Liverpool FC has reportedly made a €50 million offer for Benzema. The Reds are seeking a proven goal-scorer to bolster their attack, and Benzema—who joined Real from Lyon in 2009 for €35 million—fits the profile. Such an offer could be appealing to the Spanish giants, especially if they are considering reshuffling their attacking options.
However, Benzema isn’t the only name linked with Anfield. Gonzalo Higuain, the Napoli striker and former Real Madrid teammate of Benzema, is also reportedly under consideration.
For now, Real Madrid has made no official comment, and Benzema remains focused on his performances in La Liga and Europe. But with the January transfer window approaching, his future may soon become clearer.
