Karim Benzema’s potential move to Arsenal was a topic of speculation last winter when his form at Real Madrid was faltering. However, no transfer materialized at that time. Yet, it seems that the Gunners are preparing to make another attempt to secure the French international’s services.
According to The Telegraph, Arsenal is gearing up to make a move for Benzema in the upcoming summer transfer window. Real Madrid is reportedly willing to let go of the striker next summer, provided they find a suitable replacement. To acquire Benzema, Arsène Wenger and his team may need to offer more than €35 million.
The Telegraph suggests that Arsenal will wait until after the Champions League final on May 24 to commence negotiations for Benzema.
