Bruno Onyemaechi transfer news

Real Betis are considering a move for Nigeria international and Olympiacos left-back Bruno Onyemaechi, with the Spanish club monitoring the defender ahead of a possible transfer.

The 27-year-old was expected to leave Olympiacos during the summer transfer window, but the Greek champions decided against selling him at the time. The club are now reportedly open to offers for the Nigeria defender.

Olympiacos set €6m valuation

Transfer expert Ekrem Konur reports that Olympiacos want to make a profit on Onyemeachi after signing him from Boavista in January 2025.

The Greek side paid €2 million for the defender and are understood to value him at about €6 million.

However, despite the growing interest from Real Betis, there has been no formal offer or active negotiations between the Spanish club and Olympiacos.

Onyemeachi has previous La Liga interest

Onyemeachi has already attracted attention from clubs in Spain during his time at Boavista.

Las Palmas and Getafe were previously reported to be interested in the Nigeria international, who has since continued his career in Greece with Olympiacos.

Real Betis’ interest could provide another opportunity for Onyemeachi to return to Spain, although any potential move remains at an early stage.
