Ibrahim Amada’s trial at RC Lens has come to an unfortunate end due to injury. The Malagasy midfielder, who had been on trial with the Ligue 2 club for the past few days, was injured during a friendly match against Belgian side Tubize, which ended in a goalless draw. The timing of the injury seems to have dashed his hopes of securing a permanent spot with the club.
Joël Domenighetti, a journalist for L’Équipe, reported that it is unlikely Amada will be kept on by RC Lens, adding that the injury has effectively put an end to his prospects with the club. This marks a setback for the former USM El Harrach player, who had hoped to impress during his trial.
Meanwhile, RC Lens continues to pursue other options and is still actively interested in Christian Bekamenga, as the club seeks to strengthen their squad for the upcoming season.
