RB Salzburg turn down third Club Brugge bid for Ghanaian attacker Edmund Baidoo
Austrian top-flight side RB Salzburg have reportedly rejected a third offer from Belgian giants Club Brugge for Ghanaian winger Edmund Baidoo.
The Ghanaian attacker enjoyed an impressive 2025/26 campaign in Austria, scoring five goals and providing three assists in 27 appearances across all competitions.
His performances established him as one of the Austrian Bundesliga’s brightest young forwards and attracted interest from several clubs across Europe.
However, Club Brugge, who are keen on securing the services of the Ghanaian attacker submitted an improved package worth €10 million to lure the forward, but Salzburg turned down the proposal.
Despite the setback, the transfer is not considered dead, with negotiations between the two clubs expected to continue.
Baidoo is said to be keen on making the move to the Belgian side and remains determined to join Blauw-Zwart ahead of the new season.
Club Brugge, meanwhile, are exploring several options in a bid to reach an agreement with Salzburg and complete the transfer.
The former Sogndal attacker joined RB Salzburg in 2024 and has continued to develop into one of Ghana’s most promising young talents.
