Ivory Coast’s Yan Diomande joins RB Leipzig on long-term deal

German outfit RB Leipzig are demanding a whopping €100 million to sanction any potential transfer of Ivorian prodigy Yan Diomande.

The 18-year-old winger joined Leipzig from Spanish side Leganés in the summer of 2025 for €20 million, a move that is already proving to be a masterstroke.

According to Sky reporter Florian Plettenberg, Leipzig are extremely satisfied with Diomande’s development and have no intentions of letting him go cheaply.

The club has made it clear that any potential suitor would need to meet their €100 million valuation to stand a chance of signing the Ivorian prodigy next summer.

Diomande, who is contracted to the Red Bulls until 2030, does not have an exit clause in his deal.

The talented left winger has made seven competitive appearances so far this season, scoring once, and is expected to feature for Ivory Coast at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
