German Bundesliga side RB Leipzig are in talks to extend the contract of youngster El Chadaille Bitshiabu.
Africasoccer can report that the German outfit has presented the defender born in France to DR Congo parents with a new two-year contract.
El Chadaille Bitshiabu, 20, is currently under contract with RB Leipzig until 2028. The Bundesliga club wants to extend his contract to 2023.
The new contract which comes with a salary increase shows how the club trusts in the quality of the defender.
In the 2024/25 football season, El Chadaille Bitshiabu impressed with his performance. He made 28 appearances in all competitions and proved himself under managers Marco Rose and Zsolt Löw.
RB Leipzig believe El Chadaille Bitshiabu is one for the future and wants to tie him down with a longer contract.
Checks have revealed that the youngster is happy in Germany and is open to extending his contract.
