Rayan Ait-Nouri has underlined that the hunger for trophies inside the Manchester City dressing room remains as strong as ever, despite the demanding schedule and fierce competition they face this season.
Reflecting on the club’s ambitions, the Algerian left-back stressed that the mindset at City is clear and unwavering.
“Manchester City is always in the mix. There are big challenges coming up, so we need to be ready and take it match by match,” he said, highlighting the importance of focus and consistency. “It’s a huge club – everyone wants to win. That’s the most important thing. We train every day for those matches and those wins. We need to stay ready and keep working.”
Ait-Nouri also welcomed the intense battle for starting spots as one of the team’s great strengths rather than a problem.
“It’s healthy competition. We train every day to try to play. We push each other to reach the best performances. Everyone gets along really well. Whoever plays on the pitch gives everything for the team and tries to be as effective as possible,” he explained.
For Ait-Nouri, that combination of internal competition and shared ambition is what keeps City driving for more silverware season after season.
