Randal Kolo Muani matches Tottenham Champions League debut record
Randal Kolo Muani found the net for Tottenham in the Champions League Round of 16 second leg against Atletico Madrid, but his goal could not rescue their European campaign after a costly 5-2 defeat in the first leg.
The French striker’s strike came in a match that underlined Spurs’ struggles on the continental stage this season.
Even so, the 27-year-old reached an impressive personal milestone. His goal was his fourth for Tottenham this season, drawing him level with the debut Champions League campaigns of club favourites Gareth Bale and Peter Crouch. Alongside his goals, Kolo Muani has also contributed four assists in 33 appearances in all competitions, showing his broader impact in the final third.
On loan from PSG, Kolo Muani joined Spurs in September 2025 and is set to remain at the club until June 30, 2026.
While the team’s European exit will sting, his performances offer a rare bright spot and a platform to build on as Tottenham look to improve next season, both domestically and in Europe.
The former Eintracht Frankfurt striker has played nine games, scored four goals, and assisted two in the Champions League this season.
