Randal Kolo Muani has shared his excitement about joining Juventus, a club he describes as “legendary,” following his move from Paris Saint-Germain.
The French forward of DR Congolese descent has signed a six-month loan deal with the Italian giants, which will last until the conclusion of the 2024-25 season.
Importantly, this arrangement does not include a buy option, meaning he will return to PSG in June regardless of his performance during his loan period.
Kolo Muani has already spent several days in Italy and participated in his first training session with his new teammates.
Juventus delayed the announcement of his signing due to an administrative issue in Paris.
Expressing his feelings about the move, Kolo Muani stated, “I’m very, very happy to be here at this legendary club. I’m proud to wear these colours and play in front of the fans.”
Asked which players from Juventus’s long list of French players he admires the most, he said: “There are lots of French players who have made history here. Zinedine Zidane, of course, David Trezeguet is another one I like a lot. A bit closer to our time, there’s Paul Pogba and also Khephren Thuram is doing very well here, so I’m delighted to be here.”
Regarding his preferred playing position, he indicated flexibility, saying, “I just prefer to be on the pitch,” but noted that he feels most comfortable as a center-forward.
