Al Ain defender Rami Rabia has been included in the best XI from the opening round of the AFC Champions League Elite.
The Egypt international played in Al Ain’s 4-0 victory over Saudi Arabian opponents Al Nassr, helping his side keep a clean sheet in a dominant performance.
Moroccan forward Soufiane Rahimi was also selected for the Team of the Week after scoring Al Ain’s first and second goals against Al Nassr.
Rabia is in his second season with Al Ain. The former Al Ahly defender helped the club win the league and cup double last season.
