Raja Casablanca promise team transformation under new sporting project
Raja Casablanca have announced plans for a major overhaul of their first-team squad as the Moroccan giants prepare for the upcoming football season.
The club’s management revealed that it will implement a strategy focused on refreshing and renewing the squad as part of a wider sporting project aimed at returning Raja to a position of prominence in Moroccan and African football.
New sporting vision takes shape
The decision comes just one week after the appointment of a new technical management team, which presented its plans and outlined the direction of the club’s future project.
Raja said an evaluation meeting was held at the club’s headquarters, where the sporting department presented its comprehensive vision for the coming campaign.
The discussions focused on identifying the foundations needed to build a competitive squad capable of achieving the club’s objectives.
Raja target return to former glory
In an official statement, the Green Eagles confirmed that the planned changes will focus on restructuring the team and creating a stronger foundation for future success.
“The foundations upon which the team will be built aim to achieve the set goals and restore Raja Club Athletic to its natural position,” the club said.
The Casablanca giants, one of Morocco and Africa’s most historically successful clubs, are hoping the new approach will help them challenge for major honours again after a period of transition.
With a renewed technical structure and plans for significant squad changes, Raja are preparing for what they describe as a new era ahead of the 2025-26 season.
