Raja Club Athletic is set to enter a closed training camp starting tomorrow, Monday, for two days.
This move is part of the strategic preparations for the fourteenth round of the “Pro” championship.
Reliable sources have confirmed that the coaching staff of Raja, led by the German Joseph Zinnbauer, has decided to conduct the closed camp at the club’s academy, aiming to fine-tune their strategy for the upcoming Derby.
The “Green Team” initiated their preparations for the Wydad clash without taking a rest day after their thirteenth-round match last Thursday.
In that fixture, Raja secured a convincing victory over Ittihad Tanger with a scoreline of 6-1.
Insiders have revealed that the club’s management, under the leadership of President Mohamed Boudrika, has decided to rely on the customary bonus scale for “Derby” matches.
This scale is set at 20,000 Moroccan Dirhams for each player, serving as an incentive to motivate the squad to achieve victory in the match against Wydad Casablanca next Wednesday.
The highly anticipated “Derby” between Wydad Casablanca and Raja will take place at the “Al Bashiir” stadium in Mohammedia, and due to current restrictions, it will be held without the presence of spectators.
