Raja interested in signing Mohannad Abu Taha to strenghten squad
Raja Club Athletic have begun early preparations for the summer transfer window, with the club reportedly setting its sights on reinforcing the squad through the addition of Mohannad Abu Taha.
According to reports from Le360 Sport, the Casablanca-based side is closely monitoring Muhannad Abu Taha, a standout performer for the Jordan national team. The left-back has emerged as a key target ahead of the upcoming transfer window.
Meanwhile, Raja are set to face Difaa El Jadida at the Mohammed V Stadium on Sunday evening in a Moroccan league fixture that will be played behind closed doors due to a disciplinary sanction.
Further reports indicate that Abu Taha’s current contract is set to expire at the end of the ongoing season, a situation Raja are keen to take advantage of in order to secure his signature on a free transfer.
The defender is currently gaining professional experience with Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya, where he has established himself as one of the most reliable left-backs at the Asian level. His technical quality, precise passing and ability to contribute to attacking play from the flank have made him a highly regarded option.
Should the move materialise, Abu Taha would link up with fellow Jordanian Mohammed Abu Zureiq, further strengthening the Jordanian presence within Raja’s squad as the club looks to build for the future.
