Raja give supporters a new digital route to match tickets with webook.com
RAJA S.A., the company responsible for managing Raja Club Athletic’s sporting and commercial activities, has signed a strategic agreement with webook.com, which will become the club’s exclusive official online ticketing partner for the next three seasons.
The partnership is intended to modernise the way Raja supporters buy tickets and attend matches, with a new digital service designed to make the process easier and more accessible while meeting international standards.
Under the agreement, webook.com will introduce a new-generation ticketing solution covering the full supporter journey, from purchasing a ticket to entering the stadium.
Supporters will be able to select specific seats, view their location through a three-dimensional stadium display and receive a fully digital, secure ticket. An official resale marketplace will also allow them to resell tickets safely if they are unable to attend a match.
The service will include an official digital merchandise store, giving fans access to the club’s official digital products. The platform is designed to expand over time, with additional features gradually introduced to make matchdays smoother, more personalised and more connected.
Ticketing is a central part of RAJA S.A.’s wider development strategy. Alongside the technological upgrade, the partnership is expected to help the club improve its understanding of its supporters, strengthen its direct relationship with them and manage matchday income more effectively and sustainably.
webook.com was selected after an assessment process that considered the quality of its technology, the user experience it provides, its operational capacity and its ability to support a club with the size and level of commitment associated with Raja’s fanbase.
RAJA S.A. general manager Nawal El Aidaoui said: “Supporters are at the heart of our development strategy. Ticketing is a key moment in their journey with the club, and our ambition goes beyond simply digitising ticket sales. We want to offer a simpler, smoother and safer experience, while giving ourselves a platform that allows us to understand our supporters’ expectations better and continuously build a stronger relationship with them.”
webook.com works with organisers, institutions and major sports and entertainment operators to manage and market their events. The platform is present in more than 180 countries and is already the exclusive ticketing partner of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) in Morocco, where it manages the federation’s official portal.
Its experience includes managing periods of exceptionally high demand for major Moroccan football events. The company also operates security systems designed to combat illegal resale and the black market, helping ensure tickets reach genuine supporters.
Through the agreement, webook.com will use its technological and operational expertise to deliver a solution adapted to Raja Club Athletic, the scale of its following and the organisational demands of its matches. The platform will develop across the three seasons, adding services in response to supporters’ habits while maintaining high levels of security, reliability and performance.
Amin Alaoui, general manager of webook.com Morocco, said: “We are particularly proud to support Raja Club Athletic, a historic institution carried by one of the region’s biggest and most passionate fanbases. Following our partnership with the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, this new commitment confirms our desire to place our technology and expertise at the service of Moroccan football. Our goal is to build a simple, reliable and innovative ticketing experience that brings Raja closer to its supporters and helps modernise the matchday experience.”
The agreement forms part of RAJA S.A.’s broader strategy to modernise the club’s activities, sustainably improve the supporter experience and increase revenue in support of its sporting ambitions.
