Raja Casablanca’s preparations for the new season have gathered pace with four new signings, but the Moroccan giants’ recruitment campaign has yet to fully convince their supporters.

The club have brought in Younes Dahmani, Chemseddine Knaidil, Ishak Zidani and Brazilian forward Luis Felipe, but fans are calling for further additions as Raja look to build a squad capable of competing at the highest level.

Raja add four players

According to Elbotola, Raja have so far completed deals for the four players as coach Nassreddine Nabi continues to shape his squad ahead of the new campaign.

Luis Felipe, who joins from Brazilian side Fluminense, is among the more notable additions, while Dahmani, Knaidil and Zidani have also been brought in as the club seek to strengthen their options.

However, the recruitment has not completely eased concerns among Raja supporters, who are demanding more established players to match the club’s ambitions.

Uncertainty over Alioui deal

Raja’s transfer plans have also been complicated by uncertainty surrounding Nabil Alioui.

The player had been linked with a move to the Moroccan club, but the proposed transfer reportedly became uncertain following his medical examination.

The situation has underlined the need for Raja to assess potential recruits carefully as they attempt to avoid unnecessary additions and ensure that new arrivals can make an immediate contribution.

Nabi wants greater depth

For Raja, the focus is now expected to be on quality rather than simply increasing the size of the squad.

Nabi needs players who can strengthen key areas and give him greater tactical options as the season approaches. With the transfer window entering its final stages, the club’s management still has time to respond to supporters’ concerns.

Raja are one of Africa’s most recognised clubs and expectations around the team remain high. Their recruitment will therefore be closely watched as they seek to assemble a squad capable of competing domestically and on the continental stage.

The next additions could prove particularly important, not only for Nabi’s plans but also for determining whether the club’s management can turn its ambitions into a convincing transfer strategy.
