Raja Club Athletic weigh move for free-agent striker Mohamed Bouldini

Mohamed Bouldini has become a free agent after Deportivo de La Coruna ended his contract ahead of schedule, with Raja Club Athletic considering whether to make a move for the Morocco forward during the current summer transfer window.

The Spanish club confirmed that its association with Bouldini had formally come to an end, bringing his time at the club to a close before the expiry of his agreement. The striker’s contract had been due to run until 2028.

Bouldini joined Deportivo de La Coruna during the 2024-25 season after leaving fellow Spanish club Levante. His departure means he is now available to negotiate with other clubs without a transfer fee being required for his registration.

According to the Moroccan outlet Le Matin Sport, Raja Club Athletic have included Bouldini among their attacking options for the summer market. The club are understood to be weighing up the possibility of bringing the 30-year-old back to Morocco after his release from Deportivo de La Coruna.

A move to Raja would represent a return to a club Bouldini knows well. He developed through the ranks at Association Chabab and Raja Club Athletic before later representing Ittihad Tanger in Morocco.

The striker subsequently moved abroad to continue his career in Portugal, where he played for Oliveirense, Academica de Coimbra and Santa Clara. He then switched to Spain, featuring for Fuenlabrada and Levante before joining Deportivo de La Coruna.

Bouldini also spent time on loan at Granada during his Spanish career. His experience across Morocco, Portugal and Spain has made him a familiar figure in several footballing environments, while his availability could increase interest in him during the current transfer window.

Raja Club Athletic are now among the clubs linked with the striker, although the report identifies Bouldini as one of the team’s options rather than confirming that an agreement has been reached.

The termination of his Deportivo contract has therefore created a potential opportunity for the Moroccan club to strengthen their attack with a player who has previous experience of the club and the Moroccan league. Bouldini’s next destination remains undecided, but his status as a free agent places him in a position to assess offers from interested sides.
