Raja Casablanca’s Bouzouk seeks exit amid interest from European and Gulf clubs
Raja Casablanca midfielder Mohamed Bouzouk has reportedly informed club management of his intention to leave, with offers from European and Gulf clubs on the horizon.
Sources close to the matter confirmed the player’s desire to explore opportunities elsewhere, although the club remains firm on not allowing him to depart as a free agent at the end of the season.
According to press reports, Raja Casablanca has instructed Bouzouk’s agent to secure a suitable transfer offer during the upcoming winter transfer window.
The club is determined to capitalize on any potential deal rather than letting the player leave without financial benefit, especially given its current financial difficulties.
“This move aligns with Raja Casablanca’s strategy to strengthen its financial position by leveraging player transfers rather than permitting free departures,” said a source familiar with the club’s internal discussions.
Bouzouk’s performances have garnered attention from clubs in Algeria, Europe, and the Gulf region, making him a sought-after asset.
However, Raja’s management has emphasized the importance of finding a deal that benefits both the player and the club.
The impending decision on Bouzouk’s future comes as Raja Casablanca looks to balance its aspirations on the pitch with financial stability off it, reflecting a broader trend among clubs navigating the complexities of modern football economics.
Bouzouk has yet to comment publicly on his future, but the upcoming transfer window promises to be decisive for both the player and the club as negotiations unfold.
