Raja Casablanca weigh move for La Louviere midfielder Lahssaini

Belgian-Moroccan midfielder Sami Lahssaini is being linked with a move from La Louviere to Raja Casablanca, with the Moroccan club considering a deal for the 27-year-old.

Lahssaini plays in central midfield and currently represents La Louviere in Belgium’s Jupiler Pro League. Raja Casablanca compete in Morocco’s Botola Pro Inwi, but there is no indication that an agreement has been reached or that formal terms have been announced.

The player joined La Louviere permanently from FC Metz in July 2024 on a free transfer, after returning from a loan spell at the Belgian club. His current market value is listed at €700,000.

Lahssaini began his senior career at RFC Seraing after progressing through the club’s youth system. He later spent periods on loan at RFC Seraing and La Louviere while contracted to Metz before making his move to La Louviere permanent.

Born in Liege, Lahssaini has Belgian and Moroccan nationality. His current contract with La Louviere runs until 30 June 2027, meaning any move to Raja Casablanca would require an agreement between the clubs unless his contractual situation changes.
