Raja Casablanca target Silkeborg’s Denmark-Morocco midfielder Younes Bakiz
Younes Bakiz, the Denmark-Morocco midfielder at Silkeborg IF, has been linked with a move to Raja Casablanca in Morocco’s Botola Pro Inwi.
The 27-year-old attacking midfielder joined Silkeborg from Aalborg BK in July 2024 in a deal worth €400,000 and remains under contract with the Danish club until 30 June 2028.
Bakiz has made five appearances in six possible Superliga matches this season, playing 129 minutes without scoring or providing an assist. He has not started a league match, while also completing full appearances in the Betano Pokalen and Future Cup.
The reported interest comes with Bakiz’s current market value listed at €1.5m, although there is no indication of a transfer fee being discussed or of negotiations reaching an advanced stage.
Bakiz began his senior career with FC Roskilde before moving to Viborg FF, where he won the Danish second tier in 2021. He later joined Aalborg BK and spent two seasons there before switching to Silkeborg.
A move to Raja would represent a departure from the Danish Superliga for the Albertslund-born player, who holds both Danish and Moroccan nationality. For now, Bakiz remains a Silkeborg player, with his long-term contract leaving the club in control of his position should Raja’s reported interest develop into a formal approach.
