Raja Casablanca sign Morocco defender Chemseddine Knaidil from COD Meknes in €75k deal
Raja Casablanca have signed Moroccan left-back Chemseddine Knaidil from fellow Botola Pro Inwi side COD Meknes in a permanent €75,000 transfer. The 23-year-old swaps Meknes for Casablanca in a move that keeps him in Morocco’s top flight but elevates him to one of the country’s most high-profile clubs.
Knaidil, who operates primarily at left-back, joins a Raja side regularly involved in the race for domestic honours and continental qualification. The transfer strengthens Raja’s options on the left side of defence as they reshuffle their squad for the new campaign.
The defender leaves COD Meknes after establishing himself in the Botola Pro Inwi, earning a move that reflects his rising status in the Moroccan game. His development at Meknes has now been parlayed into a step up to a club that consistently competes at the top end of the league.
Knaidil’s current market value is listed at €450,000, underlining the relatively modest nature of the fee agreed between the two Moroccan clubs for the move. For Raja, the signing represents a domestic acquisition of a player already adapted to the demands of top-flight football in the country.
The deal, completed on 27 July 2026, confirms Knaidil’s switch from COD Meknes to Raja Casablanca on a full transfer for €75,000.
