Moroccan giants Raja Casablanca could miss their highly anticipated pre-season friendly against Spanish side Valencia after visa and travel complications reportedly put the fixture at risk.

Spanish outlet La Grada reports that Raja’s planned trip to Paterna for the weekend match has become increasingly uncertain, with Valencia already exploring alternative opponents should the Moroccan club be unable to travel.

Neither club has officially confirmed that the fixture has been cancelled.

The latest uncertainty follows reports in Moroccan media that several Raja players, along with members of the technical and administrative staff, are facing delays in obtaining the necessary travel visas.

The complications have put Raja’s planned departure for Spain under pressure, with club officials working to secure the required documentation before the scheduled fixture.

The situation has raised concerns over whether the Casablanca club will be able to field its squad in time for the match.

Important test for Nabi

The friendly against Valencia had been viewed as an important part of Raja’s preparations for the 2026-27 campaign.
