Raja Casablanca President, Mohamed Boudrika, has swiftly dismissed circulating rumors that head coach Josef Zinnbauer has paid his release clause and is set to depart from the club. Addressing the speculation through a post on his official Facebook page, Boudrika clarified, “The coach has not activated his release clause, nor has he terminated his contract. He is currently on vacation.”
Despite the ongoing rumors, Boudrika did not deny the interest from South Africa’s Mamelodi Sundowns in acquiring the services of the Raja coach. He stated, “The club’s management is considering all options regarding the technical staff, whether it involves staying or leaving.
What’s important is that we are prepared, and it is Raja that creates individuals, not the other way around.”
Boudrika further explained that the club’s management had a meeting with the technical committee to discuss the preparation program for the upcoming season. He assured fans that this program would be published soon on the club’s official website.
The speculation about Zinnbauer’s departure has caused a stir among Raja Casablanca supporters, given his critical role in the team’s recent performances. However, Boudrika’s reassurances aim to calm the fanbase and emphasize the club’s stability and strategic planning for the future.
As the football season draws closer, Raja Casablanca’s management appears determined to ensure that the team remains competitive and well-prepared, regardless of any changes that might occur in the coaching staff.
The upcoming season’s preparation program is anticipated to outline key strategies and goals, reinforcing the club’s commitment to maintaining its stature in Moroccan and African football.
