Despite their efforts, Raja Casablanca’s pursuit for justice has been in vain. Following a complaint against Horoya AC filed with Caf, the Moroccan club’s appeal has been rejected by the African football governing body.
Raja lodged the appeal after Caf dismissed their initial complaint regarding the eligibility of a Horoya player during the Champions League round of 16 second leg match. Mohamed Camara, recruited on loan from CODM, allegedly participated in the match after his contract had expired, according to Raja’s claims. However, Caf disagreed.
In a statement released on Friday, Caf stated, “The appeal committee, after thoroughly assessing the evidence presented during the proceedings and considering the circumstances of the case, has decided to uphold the decision of the Organizing Commission for Interclub Competitions made on March 15, 2014.”
Despite Raja’s persistence, their quest for justice has been thwarted by Caf’s ruling.
