RAÏS M’BOLHI ON TRIAL AT BOLTON AFTER PHILADELPHIA UNION EXILE
Algerian international Raïs M’Bolhi could soon find a new home in England, with Bolton Wanderers currently trialing the experienced goalkeeper. The 29-year-old has been excluded from the first team at Philadelphia Union, and his MLS club is actively seeking to offload him, reportedly demanding a significant transfer fee despite two years remaining on his contract.
M’Bolhi, who was close to joining Turkish side Antalyaspor, now appears to be looking for a fresh start in England. His potential move to Bolton would mark another chapter in a well-traveled career that has taken him across Europe and Asia, with previous stints in Scotland (Hearts), Greece (Ethnikos, Panetolikós), Japan (FC Ryukyu), Russia (Krylia Sovetov Samara), and Bulgaria (Slavia Sofia, CSKA Sofia).
A strong performance in his trial could help M’Bolhi relaunch his club career after a frustrating spell in the United States.
