Former national team star Rafik Saifi has confirmed his attendance at the opening ceremony of the Tripoli International Stadium in Libya.

Saifi, the former player of Mouloudia Club, announced today, Thursday, to the Libyan website “Reemisia” via “X” platform, stating: “I will participate tomorrow, Friday, in the opening ceremony of the Tripoli International Stadium, in support of sports and football in Libya.”

He added: “We will play a football match in the presence of former Arab, African, and international football legends against Libyan football veterans.”

It is worth noting that the reopening of the Tripoli International Stadium comes after nearly ten years of suspension by FIFA.

The opening ceremony of the stadium will witness a friendly match between Libyan, Arab, and African football legends, including Hatem Trabelsi and Mohamed Aboutrika, against AC Milan legends, including Clarence Seedorf, Ricardo Kaka, Nelson Dida, Cafu, and Rivaldo.
