Rafet El Roman sends Mohamed Salah Trabzonspor message after receiving shirt

Turkish singer Rafet El Roman has delighted Trabzonspor supporters by sharing a video in which he holds up the club’s claret-and-blue shirt and sends a message to Egypt forward Mohamed Salah.

El Roman posted the video on his social media accounts after performing in The Hague in the Netherlands. He explained that the shirt had been given to him by a female supporter and said Trabzonspor fans were “spread all over the world”.

The singer had written his name on the back of the shirt above the number 10, his favourite number and the number associated with Salah. Joking about using the Liverpool forward’s number, El Roman said: “Mohamed Salah may be angry with me now.”

He then addressed the Egypt international directly, saying: “Mr Mohamed Salah, welcome to Trabzonspor. We wish you many goals, and we also wish you to win the title this season.”

El Roman ended his message with a greeting for Trabzonspor supporters.

“Trabzonspor fans are everywhere in the world,” he said. “My greetings and all my love to them.”
