Rafael Leao: Portugal and Angola Forward at AC Milan Linked with Galatasaray Move

Rafael Leao, the Portugal and Angola international currently at AC Milan, has been linked with a summer move to Turkish giants Galatasaray in a deal that would represent one of the Super Lig’s most ambitious pursuits in recent years.

The 27-year-old left winger is under contract at San Siro until 30 June 2028, meaning any agreement would require Galatasaray to negotiate a significant fee with Milan rather than explore a cut-price exit. Leao is currently valued at around €50 million, a figure that underlines the scale of investment required for the Istanbul club to tempt Milan into a sale.

The probability of a transfer is being rated at 64%, suggesting that while talks are not at an advanced stage, the possibility of a move is being taken seriously by those close to the situation. Galatasaray are looking to strengthen their attacking options as they aim to consolidate domestic dominance and maintain a regular presence in European competition.

Leao has established himself as a key figure for Milan in Serie A, operating predominantly from the left and featuring regularly in recent campaigns. His age and contractual security give Milan a strong negotiating position, but also make him an attractive long-term target for Galatasaray as they look to add a high-profile forward in his prime.

With four years remaining on his deal, Milan face no immediate pressure to sell, and any progress is likely to hinge on whether Galatasaray are prepared to come close to the Italian club’s valuation of the winger.
