Salifou Soumah expected to leave Radomiak Radom

Guinea winger Salifou Soumah is expected to leave Radomiak Radom after the club decided against pursuing a permanent transfer following his loan spell from Malmö FF.

The 22-year-old arrived in Poland during the winter transfer window as a replacement for Capita, but struggled to establish himself within the squad during the second half of the season.

Soumah made 12 appearances for Radomiak, scoring once, but he failed to start a single match and accumulated only 279 minutes of playing time across all competitions.

According to reports from Weszlo, the agreement between the two clubs included a purchase option worth €800,000. However, the clause was reportedly linked to a required amount of league playing time.

As those conditions were not met, Radomiak are no longer obligated to activate the option, which would have represented a record transfer fee for the Polish side.

The limited involvement of the Guinea winger throughout the campaign ultimately weakened the possibility of a long-term stay at the club.

Despite his expected departure from Radomiak, Soumah’s future could still remain in Poland. Reports suggest that several other clubs in the Ekstraklasa continue to monitor his situation ahead of next season.

The winger remains a player of interest due to his age and potential, even though he was unable to make a major impact during his short stay in Radom.

For Radomiak, the decision not to proceed with the permanent deal reflects both the player’s restricted role within the squad and the financial implications attached to the transfer clause.

Soumah is now expected to return to Malmö FF while discussions continue over the next stage of his career, with interest from elsewhere in the Polish top flight potentially offering him another opportunity to remain in the league.
