The draw for the quarter-finals of the CAF Champions League is set to determine a series of high-profile ties, with eight teams still in contention for the title.

The remaining clubs are split between four group winners and four runners-up.
Under competition regulations, group winners must face runners-up, and teams cannot be paired with opponents from their own group.

Among the leading contenders, defending champions Pyramids FC cannot meet RS Berkane, whom they faced earlier in the competition.
Their potential opponents are AS FAR, Mamelodi Sundowns or Espérance de Tunis.
A meeting with Sundowns would represent a repeat of last season’s final.

Record champions Al Ahly SC could be drawn against RS Berkane, Sundowns or Espérance de Tunis, who were their opponents in the 2024 final.
For Al Hilal Omdurman, the draw excludes Sundowns.
The Sudanese side may instead face RS Berkane, AS FAR or Espérance de Tunis.

Malian representatives Stade Malien cannot meet Espérance in the next round.
Their possible opponents are RS Berkane, AS FAR or Sundowns.
Looking at the runners-up, RS Berkane are unable to face Pyramids.
AS FAR will avoid Al Ahly, while Sundowns cannot be paired with Al Hilal. Espérance de Tunis will not be drawn against Stade Malien.
