Quadri Allionida: Nigerian striker joins OFK Grbalj on free transfer from Melita

Nigerian centre-forward Quadri Allionida has joined Montenegrin side OFK Grbalj on a free transfer from Melita.

The 21-year-old, born in Lagos and standing at 1.83m, has signed a deal with the 2. CFL club running until 30 June 2027 after leaving the Maltese outfit at the end of last season. He will wear the number 19 shirt.

Allionida arrives in Montenegro after a campaign in which he showed his eye for goal in the Maltese Challenge League, scoring seven times in 14 appearances and averaging a goal roughly every 149 minutes. Across all competitions last term he featured in league, cup and play-off fixtures, gaining experience in both regular-season and knockout football.

The move to OFK Grbalj continues a rapid rise through European football for the right-footed striker. He joined Melita in September 2025, also on a free transfer, after a spell with Floriana, whom he had signed for a year earlier from Dominion Hotspurs. Before that, Allionida spent time with Ostrava’s under-19 set-up following a move from Broad City in 2023.

By committing Allionida to a contract through the 2026-27 season, OFK Grbalj have secured a young centre-forward with recent scoring form in senior football on a long-term basis.
