Adel Taarabt Struggling to Find Form at QPR as Redknapp Urges Commitment
Moroccan midfielder Adel Taarabt is facing a difficult start to the season with Queens Park Rangers, having made just one appearance since rejoining the club this summer. Still reminiscing about his loan spell at AC Milan, where he enjoyed more regular playing time, Taarabt now finds himself on the fringes at Loftus Road.
QPR manager Harry Redknapp addressed the player’s situation, emphasizing that a return to fitness and focus is the first step toward redemption.
“The first thing he needs is to get back in shape and start playing football again here,” said Redknapp, speaking to Sky Sports.
“He had the green light to leave during the summer, but AC Milan didn’t come back for him. He can still leave if a club wants to pay the sum that QPR is demanding for his sale.”
At 25 years old, Taarabt still has time to turn things around. However, unless he rediscovers form and consistency—or finds a club willing to meet QPR’s asking price—his career risks stalling further.
