QPR: Taarabt Could Return to the Squad Despite Recent Tensions
After being publicly criticized by manager Harry Redknapp for his fitness issues, Adel Taarabt could make a surprise return to the Queens Park Rangers squad. Though Redknapp had previously ruled out his involvement, the situation now appears to have shifted.
“He might be involved. I won’t hesitate to put him in the squad if he’s ready. He’s a player who can bring us a lot. I was happy with the discussion we had in recent days,” said Redknapp.
QPR will face Chelsea this Saturday as part of Premier League Matchday 10, and Taarabt’s inclusion would mark a significant turnaround in what has been a turbulent few weeks for the Moroccan midfielder.
Taarabt was expected to feature with the reserves earlier this week, but that appearance did not materialize. His potential reintegration into the first team will now depend on his fitness and attitude in training ahead of the weekend clash.
