Asian outfit Qatar SC have begun their attempt to snap up South African forward Percy Tau from Al Ahly.
The former Brighton and Hove Albion forward has just six months left on his contract and has been linked with a move away from Al Ahly.
Percy Tau is departing Al Ahly following a reported break up in relationship with Swiss coach Marcel Koller.
According to reports, Qatar SC have submitted an official bid to snap up Percy Tau from the Egyptian outfit. Meanwhile, Al Ahly has yet to respond to the offer from the Asian club.
Percy Tau has made only 14 appearances for Al Ahly this season, scoring three goals and providing an assist.
