Pierre Lechantre has been relieved of his coaching duties at Al-Arabi due to unsatisfactory results. The decision to dismiss the French coach was made after the team’s goalless draw against Al Qadisiya during the third day of the Qatar championship. Lechantre, who took charge of Al-Arabi in the middle of the previous season, failed to meet the club’s expectations.
Following the dismissal, Al-Arabi is now in search of a new coach to lead the team. Ahmed Al-Amadi, the club’s general secretary, stated, “Al-Arabi is looking for a new coach (…) who lives up to the club’s ambitions.”
As of the end of the third day, Al-Arabi holds the sixth position in the standings with three consecutive draws.
