Pyramids have confirmed that striker Nadir Benbouali has been called up to the Algeria squad for the next international break.
The club said it had received an official notification from the Algerian Football Federation requesting the player’s release for national-team duty.
Algeria are scheduled to face Togo twice during their November training camp as part of the qualifying campaign for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations. The first match will be followed by the return fixture before the camp concludes.
The Algeria camp is due to begin on 9 November at the national-team centre in Sidi Moussa, Algeria, and will run until 18 November after the second match against Togo.
The call-up comes after Pyramids announced on Saturday that Benbouali had suffered an injury. The club did not specify how long the Algerian forward would be unavailable.
Benbouali has made seven appearances for Pyramids this season and has scored three goals.
