Pyramids sporting director Hani Said has addressed rumors regarding Ramadan Sobhi’s possible transfer to Zamalek, affirming that no official or friendly offers have been made for the talented winger.

Hani explained, “On the official level, there are no negotiations, but sometimes agents or the player himself might talk, so I can’t confirm. Things may be complicated today and later become possible, but that is not related to Ramadan Sobhi’s situation.”

He stated that the club has not entered talks to acquire Hossam Abdel Maguid from Zamalek, nor considered a swap deal involving Sobhi. Hani praised Ramadan’s skill but acknowledged his struggle with persistent injuries this season. Sobhi is set to travel to Germany for medical tests and is expected to be sidelined for about a month.

Regarding team contracts, Said confirmed: “Fiston Mayele will remain with the team until his contract ends, and we anticipated his success. Our choice was purely technical.” He added, “Blati Toure joined for free and is among our best players, and negotiations are underway to renew both their contracts.”

Said stressed that enticing offers are expected for the stars but negotiations remain ongoing. He also noted that Croatian coach Krunoslav Jurcic values Ramadan Sobhi, who is currently out due to injuries. Lastly, Said highlighted Pyramids’ achievements in CAF competitions and their commitment to maintaining success in future tournaments
