Coach Krunoslav Jurcic made a late decision to pull Congolese striker Fiston Mayele from the squad after he picked up a hamstring injury during the pre-match warm-up. In his place, Marwan Hamdy has been handed a starting role, while Dodo El-Gabbas makes the bench.
The setbacks don’t end there. Midfield anchor Mohand Lasheen, creative winger Ramadan Sobhi, and attacking threat Mostafa Fathi have all been ruled out through injury. Their absence leaves Pyramids with a weakened squad in a match that could shape the title run-in.
