Egyptian Premier League outfit Pyramids FC have targeted National Bank FC attacker Osama Faisal as a potential replacement for Fiston Mayele.
The DR Congo star has emerged as a top transfer target for several clubs on the African continent following a swashbuckling performance in the recently concluded campaign.
He racked up 9 goals to annex the Champions League topscorer prize as his outfit emerged as the eventual winners of the Champions League title.
Pyramids FC are said to be planning for life after Mayele and has identified Osama Faisal as a potential replacement for the attacker.
However, securing the services of the attacker won’t be easy, with Egyptian giants Al Ahly and Zamalek expressing huge interest in the forward.
As previously reported, the reigning CAF Champions League winners are hoping to earn around $3 million for their striker. Despite the mounting interest, Pyramids are still looking to hold on to Mayele.
The 24-year-old racked up 8 goals in 16 appearances in the Egyptian Premier League last season. He arrived at the club in February 2024 and has since been outstanding for National Bank.
His current contract with the Egyptian club is expected to elapse in the summer of 2027.
