President of Pyramids FC, Mamdouh Eid, has paid a hospital visit to left-back Mohamed Hamdi Ibrahim following a frightening incident during their Egypt Cup quarter-final clash against Petrojet.
Hamdi collapsed on the pitch and briefly lost consciousness, with initial reports indicating he had swallowed his tongue during the match.
Medical personnel promptly applied the necessary emergency procedures before he was rushed to a nearby hospital for further assessment.
Eid made his way to the medical facility immediately after the final whistle at Petrosport Stadium, where he checked on the defender and received encouraging updates from doctors overseeing his care.
