Pyramids FC has stepped up once again, showing its class off the pitch by settling the final payment in the deal that brought Abdel Rahman Magdy to Cairo.
The EGP 5 million installment is a timely cash injection for Ismaily SC, who have been navigating financial difficulties in recent months.
Magdy, who made the switch in the summer of 2024, played a key role in Pyramids’ historic run to their first-ever CAF Champions League title. His impact was felt both on the field and now off it, as his transfer continues to yield dividends for his former club.
In an official statement, Pyramids expressed their support for the Dervishes, calling the gesture part of a strong bond between the two sides. The club also highlighted the role of president Mamdouh Eid and his deep connection to the Ismailia region.
While aiding Ismaily, Pyramids is also building its own future, recently announcing the signing of Brazilian talent Everton da Silva, further boosting their title ambitions.
