Pyramids FC duo of Ramadan Sobhi and Ali Gabr were picked up for doping test on Tuesday after the club’s massive win over Sagrada Esperanca in the CAF Champions League group stage opener.
The pair lasted the entire duration when Pyramids inflicted a 5-1 victory over their Angolan opponent at the Air Defense Stadium in Cairo.
The move stem from their energetic performance in the match between Pyramids and Sagrada Esperanca. Shober delivered double assists to help his outfit secure a maximum points in the highly competitive clash.
Meanwhile, the result of the tests have however not yet been released.
Goals from Mohamed Hamdi, Fiston Mayele, Ahmed Atef El Sayed and Ibrahim Adel’s brace were enough for the host to secure maximum points in the opening game.
Pyramids sit top of Group D with three points following their massive win over their opponent.
