Egyptian club Pyramids FC have confirmed the signing of Zambian winger Pascal Phiri from ZESCO United, strengthening their attacking options in the current winter transfer window.

The club completed a deal that will see Phiri stay for three and a half seasons, reflecting their long-term belief in his potential. At just 20 years old, Phiri operates mainly on the right wing and is regarded as one of the brightest emerging talents in Zambian football.

Phiri has represented Zambia at various youth levels and has already made an appearance for the senior national team in a match against DR Congo, underlining his growing international profile.

His arrival continues an active window for Pyramids, who have also brought in Palestinian midfielder Hamed Hamdan from Petrojet and playmaker Nasser Maher from Zamalek.

To balance the squad, Pyramids have agreed to loan out Abdelrahman Magdy and Abdelrahman Gouda to Al Ittihad Alexandria, while Mahmoud Abdel Aaty Dunga has completed a permanent move to the same club.

The club is also close to approving a loan move for right-back Tarek Alaa to Zed FC, as they reshape the team for the second half of the season.
