PSG winger Ibrahim Mbaye sets early Senegal record

Paris Saint Germain attacker Ibrahim Mbaye has etched his name into the history of the Senegal national team following his two-goal contributions in the international friendly match against Kenya.

The 17-year-old, who recently earned a call up to the Taranga Lions is off to a great start, registering his name on the scoresheet and delivering an assist.

Mbaye was unplayable in his second appearance for Senegal, as the side run riot of the Harambee Stars on Tuesday.

He becomes the youngest player in Senegal’s history to score and provide an assist for the national team, marking a significant step his national team career.

Mbaye is expected to make the Senegal squad for the upcoming African Cup of Nations tournament to be staged in Morocco between December 2025 and January 2026.

The enterprising attacker has made ten appearances for the French giants and will be hoping to cement a place in the starting lineup.
