PSG set to resume Bradley Barcola contract talks after Champions League final

Paris Saint-Germain will reopen contract extension negotiations with forward Bradley Barcola following their UEFA Champions League final clash against Arsenal, according to football journalist Fabrizio Romano via ParisSG Infos.

The club’s hierarchy temporarily suspended all renewal talks to ensure complete concentration ahead of the showpiece event scheduled for May 30 in Budapest.

Barcola’s current deal runs until June 2028, but PSG are eager to secure his long-term future after an impressive campaign. The 23-year-old winger has registered 13 goals and six assists across 48 appearances in all competitions this season.

His performances have sparked genuine interest from Premier League giants Arsenal and Liverpool, making contract discussions increasingly important for the Parisian club.

Paris Saint-Germain signed Bradley Barcola from Olympique Lyonnais on August 31, 2023, on a five-year contract for a €45 million transfer fee, plus up to €5 million in performance-related bonuses.

He made his debut for the club just days later, coming on as a substitute in a 4–1 Ligue 1 away win against Lyon on 3 September 2023. Barcola scored his first goal for PSG on 9 December 2023, netting in a 2–1 Ligue 1 home victory over Nantes with a composed finish in the 41st minute.
