Mamadou Sakho, who spent the first league match on the bench for PSG, has expressed a desire to be transferred, according to L’Equipe. Competing with several defenders at PSG, including Thiago Silva, Alex, Marquinhos, and Zoumana Camara, Sakho wishes to move to another club. Although he is contracted with PSG until June 2014, Sakho has made this decision after discussions with the club’s management. With the 2014 World Cup approaching, Sakho aims to increase his chances of being selected by Didier Deschamps for the French national team, especially considering he was not called up for the friendly match against Belgium.
