PSG President Nasser Al-Khelaifi denies Mohammed Salah’s transfer links

President of Paris Saint Germain, Nasser Al-Khelaifi has denied reports linking Egyptian star Mohammed Salah to the club.

Earlier reports suggested the French Ligue 1 giants have contacted Salah for his services as he nears the expiration of his contract.

Salah’s current contract expires at the end of the season but he is yet to receive a contract extension offer from Liverpool.

But Nasser Al-Khelaifi has swiftly denied reports linking the Liverpool star to his outfit.

“It’s not true. He’s a fantastic and amazing player, but we’ve never considered him, to be honest. We know every club would love to have him, but these rumors about us are simply not true,” Al-Khelaifi told Florian Plettenberg.

The former African Footballer of the Year winner played a pivotal role when Liverpool defeated Manchester City 2-0 at the Anfield on Sunday. He registered his name on the scoresheet after converting perfectly from the spot.

The 32-year-old winger has been outstanding since joining Liverpool in the summer of 2017 from AS Roma.

Salah has been Liverpool’s main man this season, scoring 10 goals and providing 6 assists in 12 appearances in the English Premier League.
