PSG plan Zion Suzuki transfer and Juventus loan

Paris Saint-Germain are closing in on Zion Suzuki, but the Japanese goalkeeper may not immediately join the club’s first-team plans.

The 23-year-old Parma goalkeeper, who impressed during the 2026 World Cup with Japan, could arrive in a deal worth around €35 million.

Because PSG already have Matvey Safonov and Lucas Chevalier, the club could loan Suzuki out for one season after completing the transfer. Juventus are reportedly interested and may consider taking him, although the Italian club must decide whether a temporary move fits its long-term plans.

Fabrizio Romano explained that the next few days could be decisive, with PSG potentially preparing another offer for Parma. He said, “Between Thursday and Friday, watch the situation of Zion Suzuki closely. I don’t think anything will happen tonight, but the next one or two days will be decisive.”

Romano also outlined PSG’s possible message to Juventus: “You don’t want Chevalier? In that case, we can offer you Suzuki: we buy him and loan him to you.”

Everything depends on Chevalier’s future. If he stays, Suzuki could spend a season in Turin. If he leaves, the Japanese international may compete with Safonov in Paris.
